I'm confused and I don't know what you did, but have a good day!
From "The Tyranny of Things" by Elizabeth Morris
Once upon a time, when I was very tired, I chanced to go away to a little house by the sea. "It is empty," they said, "but you can easily furnish it." Empty! Yes, thank Heaven! Furnish it? Heaven forbid! Its floors were bare, its walls were bare, its tables there were only two in the house were bare. There was nothing in the closets but books; nothing in the bureau drawers but the smell of clean, fresh wood; nothing in the kitchen but an oil stove, and a few a very few dishes; nothing in the attic but rafters and sunshine, and a view of the sea. After I had been there an hour there descended upon me a great peace, a sense of freedom, of in finite leisure. In the twilight I sat before the flickering embers of the open fire, and looked out through the open door to the sea, and asked myself, "Why?" Then the answer came: I was emancipated from things. There was nothing in the house to demand care, to claim attention, to cumber my consciousness with its insistent, unchanging companionship. There was nothing but a shelter, and outside, the fields and marshes, the shore and the sea. These did not have to be taken down and put up and arranged and dusted and cared for. They were not things at all, they were powers, presences.
And so I rested. While the spell was still unbroken, I came away. For broken it would have been, I know, had I not fled first. Even in this refuge the enemy would have pursued me, found me out, encompassed me.
If we could but free ourselves once for all, how simple life might become! One of my friends, who, with six young children and only one servant, keeps a spotless house and a soul serene, told me once how she did it. "My dear, once a month I give away every single thing in the house that we do not imperatively need. It sounds wasteful, but I don’t believe it really is. Sometimes Jeremiah mourns over missing old clothes, or back numbers of the magazines, but I tell him if he doesn’t want to be mated to a gibbering maniac he will let me do as I like."
The old monks knew all this very well. One wonders sometimes how they got their power; but go up to Fiesole, and sit a while in one of those little, bare, white-walled cells, and you will begin to understand. If there were any spiritual force in one, it would have to come out there.
I have not their courage, and I win no such freedom. I allow myself to be overwhelmed by the invading host of things, making fitful resistance, but without any real steadiness of purpose. Yet never do I wholly give up the struggle, and in my heart I cherish an ideal, remotely typified by that empty little house beside the sea.
Which central idea is not discussed in Morris’s essay?
a
The loss of things
b
The beauty of things
c
The passion for things
d
The call for things
The beauty of things is the central idea is not discussed in Morris’s essay. Hence, option B is correct.
What is the concept of the passage? The Tyranny of Things by Elizabeth Morris describes how the speaker believes that common objects have turned into unneeded clutter in our lives. She discusses how, as social creatures, we love to store things—even ones that aren't actually necessary. She describes how objects have accumulated in our life, "obstructing" our open spaces and reducing our ability to see the outer world.
She describes how she finds comfort in the emptiness of space in the excerpt provided. She responded when somebody suggested she fill the vacant place "Empty! Yes, praise God! Decorate it? God forbid!" Instead, she appreciates how "uncluttered" the house is, how it gave her "a sensation of freedom, of endless leisure," and how it is empty.
Thus, option B is correct.

The following excerpt is taken from W.B. Yeats's poem "Easter, 1916," in which he examines his feelings toward those who took part in the Easter Rising in Ireland. Which set of lines suggests that Yeats considered the rebels inflexible?
Too long a sacrifice
Can make a stone of the heart.
O when may it suffice?
That is Heaven's part, our part
To murmur name upon name,
As a mother names her child
When sleep at last has come
On limbs that had run wild.
What is it but nightfall?
No, no, not night but death;
Was it needless death after all?
For England may keep faith
For all that is done and said.
We know their dream; enough
To know they dreamed and are dead;
And what if excess of love
Bewildered them till they died?
I write it out in a verse—
MacDonagh and MacBride
And Connolly and Pearse
Now and in time to be,
Wherever green is worn,
Are changed, changed utterly
A terrible beauty is born.
The line that suggests that W.B. Yeats Considered the rebels inflexible is "Too long a sacrifice Can make a stone of the heart."
Who is W.B. Yeats?W.B. Yeats was an Irish poet, dramatist, writer and one of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature. He was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival and became a pillar of the Irish literary establishment who helped to found the Abbey Theatre. “My long term goal is to become an animator and work in the field of cartoon making. While becoming an artist may seem like an easy goal, there are many things I need to do in order to achieve it. There are different types of animation, and I would like to learn more about them as well as other aspects of cartoon making. I would also like to take classes and participate in activities that will help me gain confidence and meet more people with similar interests. My plan is to take small steps to achieve my ultimate goal because I know there are a lot of things I need to learn and accomplish along the way.
There are obstacles I will need to overcome, and actions I will have to take in order to achieve my goal of becoming an animator. One obstacle I will need to overcome is going back to in-person learning in the fall. I really enjoy online learning and the flexibility it gives me to spend time with my family, and of course work on my animations. One action I will have to take is to try really hard in my core subjects and do my best to maintain good grades through high school. This is important, especially if I want to get into a good art school or program after I graduate.
While I do have natural artistic talent, I still have a lot to learn and I know that becoming an animator won’t be an easy task. My plan for high school is to take advantage of any art classes they have to offer so I can learn more techniques and also learn different mediums of art such as painting, sculpting, and pottery. I have always loved to draw and create stories, so I am excited to learn new ways to expand my creativity. I would also like to take some creative writing classes that will help me with my story writing, and will also help me come up with story lines and storyboards for cartoon making.
A few more steps I will need to take to achieve my goal are to learn more about the core subjects in school, and work on gaining self-confidence. I plan to learn as much as I can about history, society, vocabulary, science and math because they will not only help me achieve my ultimate goal, they will help me when I am creating different backgrounds, settings, and characters. I also plan to find different classes and activities such as drama and debate that will help me with self-confidence and speaking in front of people. Gaining self-confidence and learning about acting will also help me with my goal of becoming an animator and will also help me gain voice-acting skills and become more confident and comfortable with public speaking and performing.
In conclusion, my long term goal is to become an animator and have a career in cartoon making. My plan is to learn as much as I can in high school and take advantage of the classes they offer that will help me get into a good art school and achieve my ultimate goal. I am looking forward to learning new artistic techniques and skills, as well as meeting new people with similar interests. I have learned that the best way to accomplish my goal is to make smaller goals and take small steps to help me achieve them. I know there will be obstacles and challenges along the way, but if I work hard I can have a successful career doing something that I love.”

In Toni Morrison's novel "The Bluest Eye," the horizon symbolizes the unattainable future and the vastness of opportunity that lies beyond the limited perspectives of the characters. What are my top two barriers in participating physical activity? What are my plans
of action to overcome these barriers?
Answer:
I'm sorry, but I don't have enough information about you to accurately identify your top two barriers to participating in physical activity or to suggest plans of action for overcoming them. There are many different potential barriers to participating in physical activity, and the specific barriers that someone faces will depend on a variety of factors, including their age, physical abilities, and personal circumstances. Some common barriers to physical activity include lack of time, lack of motivation, lack of access to appropriate facilities or equipment, and health conditions or injuries that limit one's ability to be physically active. To overcome these barriers, it can be helpful to identify the specific factors that are preventing you from being active, and then to develop a plan of action that addresses those factors. This might involve setting specific goals, finding ways to make physical activity more convenient or enjoyable, seeking support from friends or family members, or working with a healthcare provider or other professional to develop a safe and effective exercise plan.
